Art Berliner
Managing Director
Mr. Berliner is a venture capital pioneer. He
co-founded Walden in 1974 with George Sarlo and is known for his
expertise in consumer, retail, and e-commerce businesses.
He also co-founded Walden International and Walden Israel, two venture
firms with over $1.5 billion in combined committed capital under
management that invest in high technology opportunities primarily in
Asia and Israel, respectively.
Mr. Berliner has led more than 100 investments in technology and
consumer companies over his career in the venture business. His
experience as a director of private and public companies represents a
valuable resource for Walden's portfolio companies.
