Alex Gove
Principal
Before joining Walden, Mr. Gove was a Senior Columnist at Red Herring
magazine,
a monthly publication focusing on the business of technology. From April, 1995,
until his departure, he was responsible for the magazine's venture
capital and Digital Media coverage. In addition to writing monthly
columns on venture capital ("VC Whispers") and Digital Media ("New
Mediator"), he completed numerous feature stories, company profiles,
and interviews. Mr. Gove also created and wrote a bi-weekly column for
Red Herring's Web site called "VCPS" that focused on the relationship
between entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. After leaving Red
Herring, he wrote a monthly column for the magazine called "Nuts &
Bolts" that dealt with the process of raising venture capital. Prior
to Red Herring, Mr. Gove worked in entertainment production and
investment banking.
